Methodology

THE STARTING LINE

The Video Blogging Contest guidelines that was given to us, broke the silence that the seniors of RTTALOCNHS is experiencing. Without further a do the team started discussing about the topic to be featured. At first the team  enlisted four entries, but then instances changed our plan so we decided to finally feature the something that is truly ours, the  Lumbayag sa Taloc . Then the team immediately researched on the topic.

ABSTRACTING THE SITE

On the first phase of the project, the group poured out and focused their time on making the abstract: the project, time and schedule of activities, as well as the taking of videos.

SEARCH: FILE VIDEO OF LUMBAYAG
We had one problem faced at the start of  the project. We cannot shoot the celebration for it will be on February. Somebody was sent to us though by the heavens in the person of Ms. Meldey Carmona. She recorded the video for her sister working abroad. When Sir Alan asked her if we could use it for the project she instantly said yes without any trace of hesitation. Thank you so much maam! :)

TOPIC: LUMBAYAG SA TALOC
After conceptualizing the blog design, the group dedicated their time in researching and gathering information about Lumbayag sa Taloc. The team wanted a first hand information so we conducted an interview with the mother and organizer of Lumbayag sa Taloc, Brgy. Captain Delia Teovisio.

WHAT THE SPECTATORS SAY

An ambush interview was done to gather more information about Lumbayag sa Taloc. The field interviewer, Gisele, together with the writer had a conversation with some of the spectators. Fortunately, the interviewees were cooperative and are very much willing to help.

THE FINAL THING

One of the hardest part is putting the ideas into writing. A lot of time was spent in choosing appropriate words that will fit the ideas and to deliver it clearly to the readers. Thankfully, our teacher- coaches are very helpful in editing the write ups and in making it more appropriate for the blog.
Since we are in the modern world, the photos and videos were edited by the best editors James, Christian, and Joel with the help of the photo and video editing software. But everybody hand in hand helped for the betterment of the project.
